The National Academy of Television Arts and Science, Lower Great Lakes Chapter is proud to invite schools to enter into our new Regional Student Television Awards (RSTV). The RSTV Awards was created by The Lower Great Lakes Chapter to promote best practices of television production to high school students.
The RSTV Awards are offered as an incentive to high school students to achieve excellence in television journalism and to focus public attention on outstanding student achievements in television production.
Entries from high schools located in the Lower Great Lakes Chapter area will be judged by television professionals and higher ed professionals in region to determine winners.

To enter, you will need to complete the following 3 steps (all links and instructions below are also listed on the Entry Form, as well as detailed category descriptions):
- Pay your $15 Entry Fee in our shopping cart. Click here to complete this step. NOTE: You may pay by credit card, check or money order, but must submit an online order regardless of method of payment. After placing your order, you will receive an invoice via email. You will need your invoice number to complete the application process.
- Upload your video in our RSTV Video Upload Center. Click here to visit our Video Upload Center, which is now hosted by School Tube. NOTE: While logged into the Upload Center, click "My Profile", select the video you're entering, and copy the "Direct Link" from the right column under the heading "Add Video to Your Blog." You must then paste that link into the "Link to Video" field in the Entry Form.
- Complete the RSTV Entry Form located here. (as mentioned above, to complete the form, you will need your invoice number from Step 1, and the "Direct Link" to your video from Step 2)
You will be asked to submit some information, and then upload your clip online to the RSTV Upload Center. RSTV categories include news, arts & entertainment/cultural affairs, long form (fiction and non-fiction), sports, public affairs/community service/public service, and writing.
Each entry will need to be accompanied by a $15 entry fee, which may be paid online. If you prefer, you may also pay by Purchase Order or check to thr RSTV Awards by March 15, 2012.
All entries for the 2012 RSTV Awards must be completed and payment received no later than March 15, 2012.
